The Altar Speaks Part 3 – God will Provide
Moses said “This is the thing which the Lord commanded that you should do and the glory of the Lord shall appear unto you. Go to the altar!” (Lev. 9:6-7) If you want a visitation from the Lord go to the altar. The Lord said, “The place where I record my name there is where I will meet with you.” The altars were called by the name of the Lord. (Gen 22:14) And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-Jireh: as it is said to this day “In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.”

In Genesis 17:15 Moses built an altar and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi or The Lord is our Banner! At this altar we find victory, strength, and the knowledge that we are more than conquerors through Christ who gives us the victory! Israel was fighting Amalek at Rephidim.
